Hi I’m Julie!

I have been teaching Pilates for 22 years and my background is fitness classes and personal training. Teaching numerous amounts of classes and running each week took its toll on my body. I was experiencing lower back pain and knee pain so I decided to train as a Pilates teacher with Mk Pilates in London and it was the best decision I have made.
I am very passionate about teaching and having my own practice. I teach 7 pilates classes each week as well as fitness yoga and les mills classes such as body combat, body attack, shbam, body balance and have recently qualified as a George Franklin trainer for the lower back. I also offer 1-1 sessions in Mat or on the Reformer at my home.

I am continually learning and expanding my knowledge, which I love.

I am passionate about the many benefits of pilates, including improved posture, muscle tone, balance, and joint mobility as well as relieve stress and tension. The pilates reformer is an amazing piece of apparatus unlike no other, which helps you find length and space in the body while under spring tension. Far from just a workout for your core, the reformer helps create internal pressure to elongate the spine, joints and muscles which then leads to greater flexibility strength, stamina and more balanced posture. This type of physical and mental workout is even more relevant now due to lifestyle factors such as sitting for long periods of time and mental health aspects.
As you become familiar with the Pilates method you’ll be moving the deepest muscles of the Mind and Body that you didn’t even know you had.
